Five Wildcats Make NBA Playoff Appearances
Former UA basketball players Gilbert Arenas, Mike Bibby, Andre Iguodala, Jordan Hill and Jason Terry are on NBA postseason rosters this year.

The University of Arizona once again is well-represented in the National Basketball Association postseason.

Arizona boasts five former players on NBA playoff rosters this year, with three representing the Western conferences and two representing the East.

The list includes Gilbert Arenas (Memphis Grizzlies), Mike Bibby (New York Knicks), Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers), Jordan Hill (Los Angeles Lakers) and Jason Terry (Dallas Mavericks).

These five players have combined to make the NBA playoffs 29 times. Bibby leads the 2012 edition with 10, followed by Terry (8), Arenas (5), Iguodala (5) and Hill (1).

The 2012 NBA playoffs began April 28.

During the 2011-12 regular season, the UA had 11 players appear on NBA rosters, a mark that ranked eighth nationally. 

Over the last four years, an average of six Arizona alumni per season have made NBA postseason appearances.
