Legal Experts to Review Major Supreme Court Cases
For its 13th annual Constitution Day Supreme Court Review, the UA James E. Rogers College of Law is hosting a discussion of five recent and important U.S. Supreme Court cases.
An expert panel of judges and lawyers will discuss some of the U.S. Supreme Court's most recent challenging cases during an event commemorating Constitution Day.Â
The free public presentation is hosted by the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law and is being held in conjunction with a nationwide commemoration of Constitution Day.
Each year, Constitution Day events are held in schools and communities across the nation. Such events commemorate the day in 1787 the U.S. Constitution was approved by the state delegations to the Constitutional Convention and signed also by 39 of its framers.
At the UA, the 13th annual celebration will be held Sept. 16, 1-4:15 p.m. with a reception to follow. The William H. Rehnquist Center, a non-partisan center at the UA college, is presenting the event.
Registration is currently open to the event via the law school's site. Continuing legal education credit is available.
