Rogers & Hammerstein's 'The King and I'

The 2015 Tony Award winner for Best Musical Revival, "The King and I," will soon be "getting to know you," Tucson. The Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, directed by Bartlet Sher, is set in 1860’s Bangkok. It tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and the British schoolteacher he brought in to teach his many wives and children. 

Recommended for ages 8 and older. No babes in arms, everyone must have a ticket.

  • March 13, 14, 15 – 7:30 p.m.
  • March 16 – 8 p.m.
  • March 17 – 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
  • March 18 – 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
