Wildcats to the Rescue Fun 5K

When: February 18, 2018 3:00pm

Join the University of Arizona Faculty Fellows, Student Affairs & Enrollment Management and Academic Initiatives & Student Success (SAEM/AISS) to unmask your inner superhero to raise funds for the Arizona Assurance Program at the third annual Wildcats to the Rescue Fun 5K.

Over the last two years, SAEM/AISS hosted two 5K fun runs sponsored by the Faculty Fellows group and raised around $5,000 in 2016 for a local Tucson family whose son was diagnosed with leukemia as well as Banner Health's Diamond Children's Child Life Team in 2017. Each of these events has been a huge success with over 300 superheroes in attendance. This year, the funds raised will directly benefit the Arizona Assurance Program in Academic Success and Achievement to give back to low-income, Arizona residents and serve students at the University of Arizona.

Check-in, raffle and cape sales begin at 3 p.m. The race will begin 4.

The event is free to participate, but a tax-deductible donation of $10 or more per participant is suggested.
