Spring 2018 MENAS Colloquium Series – 'Professional Development: U.S. Government Careers'

Julia Santucci, senior lecturer in intelligence studies and director of the new Hesselbein Forum Leadership Program in International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, is giving a talk for the Center of Middle Easter Studies Professional Development Series about getting a U.S. government job.

Santucci also happens to be an alumna as she graduated with her Master of Arts in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona and immediately went into government employ for the next decade. Santucci will talk about various paths into the U.S. government and how to prepare one's resume for USAjobs.gov. She will also focus on what skills students need as well as how to go about interning with a U.S. government agency.
