Workshop – 'Friday Tech Talk: Introduction to Social Network Analysis'
When: April 27, 2018 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Get a crash course introduction to social network analysis (SNA) and open-source visualization tools to get you started. This workshop will give a general overview to social network analysis theory, concepts, methods and applications, including hands-on practice performing computational simulations in UCINET and Gephi, as well as a discussion of the implications of network models on human interaction.
Speaker: Monique Lassere, digital preservation librarian
Please come to the workshop with both UCINET and Gephi installed on your computer.
Please note: UCINET is only free for 90 days, but we will be using UCINET to perform computational simulations.
