Boyce Thompson Arboretum Workshop – 'Desert Herbs to Support the Immune System'

When: June 23, 2018 6:30am

Sedona herbalist Feather Jones will host a creative workshop at the UA's Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior on making salves, teas and wild herb infusions from native plants.

Treating your body with supportive foods and plant therapies will be our focus. Learn easy home remedies for strengthening your immune system, reduce the incidence of colds, flu, infections and aliments.

Guided walks begin each day at 6:30 a.m. and last about 90 minutes exploring the Curandero Trail and Herb Garden during the earliest and coolest hours while our gardens are most pleasant. Walks are followed by classes in the air-conditioned Smith Building lecture room where the herbalist will coach enrollees.
