UARA Seminar Series: 'Trouble Talking: The Realities of Communication, Language and Speech Disorders'

Join fellow retirees, alumni, supporters and friends of the University of Arizona for the UA Retirees Association's Seminar Series presenting "Trouble Talking: The Realities of Communication, Language and Speech Disorders," by Daniel R. Boone, UA professor emeritus of speech, language and hearing sciences.

About the speaker: Boone was the creator of the UA vocal coaching program and the writer of "Is Your Voice Telling on You? How to Find and Use Your Natural Voice." During his career as a speech-language pathologist, he was world-renowned for conducting many lecture and workshop presentations offering tips on everything from vocal projection to vocal hygiene.  He has worked with professionals such as teachers, politicians and broadcasters to improve their ability to communicate and make a memorable impression on their audience. He has also worked with children, adults and veterans with brain damage, aphasia, cerebral palsy and many other severe voice disorders.
