Repeats every week until Sat Oct 20 2018.
October 19, 2018 10:00am

Tom McDonald, owner of Smiling Dog Landscapes in Gold Canyon, returns to guide his popular "Tom's Top 10" walking tour as a special kick-off for the plant sale at the UA's Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park in Superior. McDonald's leisurely stroll will proceed down to the Demonstration Garden where he explains the relative merits of trees ranging from mesquite to palo verde to eucalyptus and will spotlight a short list of his favorite plants, and why they're excellent choices for gardening and landscaping in Pinal County and central Arizona.

In addition to the walk, bring photos of your front yard, back patio or landscape blueprints and you can get expert advice on ideal trees, shrubs, cacti, flowers and herbs that thrive in our corner of Arizona.
