Talk – 'Career Forward Series: Writing Resumes'

The Graduate Center, Postdoctoral Affairs and the Office of Research, Discovery and Innovation are hosting the spring 2019 Career Forward Series. The topic is "Writing and Reviewing Resumes for Careers Outside of Academia," and will focus on the needs of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.

Jim Jindrick, director of corporate engagement in the Office of Research, Discovery and Innovation, will give a presentation on how individuals with advanced degrees and training can approach creating a resume for careers outside of academia. Attendees will gain tools for creating effective resumes, panelists' input and feedback on resumes, and ways to tailor your resumes and experiences for positions outside of academia.

Attendees of this presentation will be able to sign up early for the Feb. 25 Career Forward Workshop "Resume Review with Industry Representatives."
