UAMA Community Art Talks: 'Celebrating Women Artists'

Tuesday, November 19, 2019 - 10:30am

The University of Arizona Museum of Art Docent Council presents interactive and scholarly talks on artists and art movements related to the museum's collection. Can't make it to the museum? We bring the museum to you!

This talk is dedicated to celebrating women artists. Throughout history, women artists have struggled for recognition and respect. The University of Arizona Museum of Art's collection includes works by successful artists such as Marietta Tintoretta, Elizabeth Vigee LeBrun, Georgia O'Keefe, as well as contemporary African American and Native American artists.
