2019 Arizona Insect Festival

When: October 20, 2019 10:00am to 3:00pm

Attracting an estimated 5,000 visitors each year, the free family-friendly Arizona Insect Festival, hosted by the University of Arizona's Department of Entomology, features interactive exhibits on insects and insect-based research taking place at the University of Arizona and within the Tucson community.

This year's festival is going to honor and raise awareness of the fact that the area around Tucson has one of the highest diversities of native bee species in the world. Come learn more about the fact that we live in a biodiversity hotspot!

The festival is free. Free parking will be available in the Sixth Street Garage.
