UAMA Community Art Talks: 'What's Going On?'

When: January 21, 2020 10:30am

The University of Arizona Museum of Art Docent Council presents interactive and scholarly talks on artists and art movements related to the museum's collection. Can't make it to the museum? We bring the museum to you.

What happened to the art world after World War II? The style and subject matter of fine art may have changed more in the last 74 years than in any other time period before. Since World War II, artists have taken many varied approaches to creating art. Abstract art, pop art, minimalism, conceptual art, photorealism, performance art, and graffiti art are just a few of the movements that we will explore.
