'TEDxTucson: City of Healing and Innovation' Talks

Saturday, December 8, 2012 - 7:00pm

The spirit of TEDxTucson 2012 is all about the magic that happens when people get together to be inspired by great ideas, and this year we’re creating "City Of Healing & Innovation." Controversial author George Ure of http://urbansurvival.com will speak about the technology behind "predictive linguistics" and tell us about what he sees coming in the near future that may change the world as we know it. Canadian author Patricia Pearson will be funny. UA consciousness researcher Dr. Stuart Hameroff will stretch minds. UA astronomer Ann Zabludoff and former Congresswoman Giffords' former aide Daniel Hernandez are some of the speakers slated to appear. There will also be art from the "Wonder Of We" project, live music and TED videos.

TEDxTucson is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers to bring TED-style talks to Tucson. Our mission is to inspire people.
