Peace Corps Fair

Tuesday, February 26, 2013 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Questions answered, stories told, lives changed – pass it on.

More than 100 returned Peace Corps volunteers will share their experiences of living and working abroad. Visit a Pacific Island village, an African market, a Latin American bus station, a Thai school, or sit and chat with someone who followed the call to service. Experience the vivid sights, sounds and colors of Peace Corps experience around the world.

Peace Corps recruiters will be available to discuss applying to U.S.  Peace Corps, and the work that volunteers do in education, health, environment, business, IT, agriculture, food security and youth development.

Tucson-area nonprofit organizations where Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows serve also will be on hand to recruit volunteers for local opportunities. A brief program will be held at 5 p.m. with U.S. Peace Corps Chief of Staff Stacy Rhodes.
