UA College of Public Health Presents Dr. Dean Ornish

Monday, April 29, 2013 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Dr. Dean Ornish is the author of six bestselling books, including "Dr. Dean Ornish's Program for Reversing Heart Disease;" "Eat More, Weigh Less;" "Love & Survival;" and his most recent book "The Spectrum." He is the founder and president of the nonprofit Preventive Medicine Research Institute. Ornish was designated by LIFE magazine as one of the 50 most influential members of his generation.

The Zuckerman College of Public Health and the James E. Dalen Distinguished Lecture Series are proud to bring Ornish to the University of Arizona.

The endowment for the James E. Dalen Distinguished Lecture for Health Policy supports a series of visiting professors in health policy. These distinguished scholars offer lectures and discussions to our campus community and to the public on local, state, national and international health policy issues and connect the academic world with the "real world" of public health.
