UA Poetry Center's Whitman Circle Summer Social

Wednesday, July 23, 2014 - 5:45pm

Join the UA Poetry Center and celebrate Tucson's summer months through a short series featuring local artists and writers. These free, informal gatherings are designed for any and all who wish to escape the heat and enjoy engaging conversation with new friends.

Come for wine or a beverage on your way home from work. Stay as long as you like. All are welcome.

In our second of three summer socials, join us to talk about the ways poetry will play an ongoing role in our new modern streetcar – just in time for its launch! Collaborating artists Ben Olmstead and Simon Donovan will speak.
