World's Largest Swimming Lesson - Water Awareness Event at Campus Rec

Friday, June 20, 2014 - 8:00am to 8:30am

Campus Recreation's pool will be one of the host sites for the World's Largest Swimming Lesson on Friday, June 20 from 8-8:30 a.m., followed by an Open Community Swim until noon. Hundreds of aquatic centers, pools and waterparks around the globe are hosting events on June 20 as part of the World's Largest Swimming Lesson in an attempt to set a fifth Guinness World Record to build water awareness about the vital importance of teaching kids to swim. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at Campus Recreation. All are welcome to participate in the beginning level 30-minute swimming lesson and the free open swim that follows.
