Panel Discussion on Effective Project Management

Tuesday, May 9, 2017 - 3:00pm

Many early career researchers (postdocs, graduate students, junior faculty) are interested in learning more about the managerial aspects of a faculty job or other jobs outside of academia. These groups feel confident in their ability to do research, but often lack specific guidance on some of the more nuanced parts of advancing their careers.

The UA Postdoctoral Affairs office and the UA Postdoctoral Association are teaming up to bring you a panel discussion on Effective Management Strategies. UA faculty and HR professionals will answer questions about lab management, employee relations and communicating with administrators.

Our panel features the following UA faculty and HR professionals:

  • Judith Bronstein, University Distinguished Professor, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
  • Jean-Marc Fellous, Associate Professor, Psychology
  • Josie Kelly, UA Human Resources Consultant
  • Julie Ledford, Assistant Professor, Immunobiology
