Performance – Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba, Cuba Vibra

Tuesday, November 21, 2017 - 7:30pm

Havana nights come to Centennial Hall with this hot dance show!

Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba has become one of the most prestigious companies in the world of dance and music. Dancers display precise movement and cadence: cha-cha-cha, mambo, rumba, conga, bolero, all the rhythms that vibrate the heart and fill the show. Founder, director and choreographer Lizt Alfonso is renowned for her tenacity, simplicity and fusion of dance styles. Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba was the first Cuban dance group to perform a run on Broadway, at the New Victory Theater (NY) and has since gone on to entertain audiences throughout the world. They have also performed at the Latin Grammy Awards in November 2015.
