Catalyze Your Career Workshop

When: October 20, 2017 3:00pm to October 21, 2017 7:00pm

Tucson-area graduate students and postdocs, join us for a two-day workshop to learn about careers open to Ph.D.s, and network and plan for your future career. The workshop is designed to enable access to the skills and materials required for a successful job search. Specific discussions on how to tailor job-specific applications as well as exercising essential communication and interview skills are planned.

Day 1: Oct. 20, 3-7 p.m., Silver & Sage Room and Veranda, Old Main Building

  • Science-communication workshop: elevator pitches
  • Networking reception

Day 2: Oct. 21, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m., Biological Sciences West 301 and Veranda

  • Field-specific career talks from speakers
  • Skills-training workshops
  • Networking lunch and wrap-up social

Attendees may register for both days or for Saturday only. All registered attendees are invited to the Friday reception and the Saturday wrap-up social.
