Performance – 'La Amable: Music in New Spain'

La Fontegara performs "La Amable: Music in New Spain."

In its 25th year, La Fontegara is one of the foremost early music ensembles in Mexico. These guest artists from Universidad Autónoma de México/Facultad Nacional de Música will present a recital featuring 18th century works from New Spain archives. UA distinguished graduate student Olman Alfaro, tenor, will join the guest artists in their performance. This event continues a partnership between the Fred Fox School of Music and Centro de Estudios Mexicanos – UNAM Tucson, with support from the Consulate of Mexico in Tucson.
