Short Wait Times in December at UA Passports

  • What: Passports for international travel in 2018
  • When: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closing at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 22. Closed Dec. 25-29.
  • Where: UA Passports, 935 N. Tyndall Ave., Tucson, AZ 85721 (southwest of Speedway Boulevard and Park Avenue on the University of Arizona campus)

TUCSON, Ariz. — Waiting times at UA Passports typically are the shortest of the year in November and December, while peak months are February, March and April. No appointment is necessary. The current processing time is four to six weeks.

Applicants must bring:

  • A recent color photo (2 inches by 2 inches). Photo services are available on site for $10.
  • A check or money order for passport application fees. UA Passports accepts checks, money orders, debit cards, or credit cards for execution and photo fees. Cash is not accepted.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship with original or certified documentation, as well as photocopies of such documents, for first-time U.S. Passport applicants.
