Tucson's Loft Cinema to Screen UA Professor's Documentary

TUCSON, Ariz. — A special screening of the HBO documentary film "Brillo Box (3¢ Off)" will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at The Loft Cinema, followed by a conversation with Lisanne Skyler, the film's writer/director, who is a professor in the University of Arizona's School of Theatre, Film and Television. The Loft's program director, Jeff Yanc, will host the discussion.
The critically acclaimed 40-minute film, which follows the circuitous journey of an Andy Warhol sculpture from the living room of Skyler's family to the auction block, was an official selection of the New York Film Festival and recently premiered on HBO. More than 40 UA students, alumni and faculty contributed to the making of the film.
Tickets are $6 for the general public, $5 for Loft members. The Loft Cinema is at 3233 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson.
