International enrollment increases

The number of international students studying at the UA has climbed to 2,434 this fall term, a 7 percent increase over last year.

Nationality groups with the largest student representation on campus include: People's Republic of China (363), India (215), Japan (207), Mexico (173), S. Korea (136), Indonesia (107), Taiwan (98), Germany (84), Canada (75), and Saudi Arabia (60).

International students from approximately 125 different countries represent nearly 7 percent of the total UA student enrollment.
