Envision Advertising in Tucson has only one project to accomplish, and once done, the company will fold its tent and cease to exist.

The company, after all, is only a marketing class (MKGT 452), the brainchild of some 40 students from the Eller College of Business and Public Administration at the University of Arizona this semester. Their professor is local advertising executive Ed Ackerly. They and students at 99 other colleges and universities are participating in an internship sponsored by General Motors. O'Reilly Chevrolet in Tucson is one of the sponsors and is providing the students with a $2,500 budget to create, plan, present and implement a promotional campaign.

They've come up with an afternoon of fun in the sun, an event that includes family activities, free food, raffles and games at O'Reilly Chevrolet.

The money students raise from ticket sales and donations at their benefit event this Saturday will go the Bobbi Olson Foundation and the Arizona Cancer Center. The students' goal is $3,000, and they will present their gift to the Cancer Center at the annual Sneaker Ball, a fundraiser for UA athletics on the evening of April 21.
