The new University of Arizona Police Department continues to be a big hit on campus. Call it a guided glimpse of incarceration. UAPD's expanded new facility, which opened in July, has been conducting tours on a regular basis.

The police department also offers crime prevention seminars and security surveys for the UA community. Seminar topics cover personal safety, office security, how to report crimes and suspicious activity.

Tours of the new building, which is located at First Street at Campbell Avenue, are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Information on seminars, security surveys or tours can be obtained by calling the Field Support Division at 621-4219 or e-mail UAPD Officer Marsha Hogan at mehogan@u.arizona.edu or Officer Paul Reinhardt at reinhard@u.arizona.edu . UAPD's website is http://w3.arizona.edu/~uapd/uapd-c.htm
