SPS wins national award
The UA Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) has been awarded an Outstanding Chapter Award for 1998-99 by the National SPS.
SPS is a national student organization, with 650 chapters in colleges and universities. The chapters are divided into 18 geographic zones, and within each zone, three to four chapters are chosen each year for an Outstanding Chapter Award. SPS chapters are selected for the award based on high levels of activities, both internal and outreach.
