UA College of Nursing Appoints Lamb as New Associate Dean

Gerri S. Lamb has been appointed associate dean for Clinical and Community Services and associate professor at the UA College of Nursing.

Prior to joining the college, Lamb was senior corporate director of Community Services and director of the Community Nursing Organization at Carondelet Health Network. She is an active member of many local and national boards for community and health care services. Lamb received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the State University of New York at Albany, her master's degree in nursing from the University of Rochester, and her doctorate in clinical nursing research at the UA. She has received numerous awards including the Case Manager of the Year from the Case Management Society of America in 1998 and the 40th Anniversary Outstanding Scholar Award from the UA College of Nursing in 1997.

Lamb succeeds Anne Woodtli, who returned to her a full-time faculty role as professor of nursing after serving as associate dean for Clinical and Community Services since August 1990.
