ABOUT GREAT DECISIONS:

Hundreds of area residents participate in the Great Decisions program at 23 locations in Tucson, Green Valley and Sierra Vista. The discussion program is promoted by the Foreign Policy Association of Washington, D.C. and conducted in more than 400 locations throughout the United States. Topics for Great Decisions 2000 are: Defining the U.S. Interests in the World; Report Card on Russian Survival; Indonesia in Aftershock; The Military Role in U.S. Foreign Policy; Middle East Realignments; The Euro's Challenge to the U.S. Dollar; Africa's Place in the World and Defining Humanitarian Intervention.

Public Broadcasting (KUAT-TV) schedules programs on each topic, and there are discussion areas on the Foreign Policy Association's Website .
