The UA Police Department will dedicate its new facility, as well as confer department awards and hold and accreditation presentation next week. UA President Peter Likins, Joel Valdez, vice president for business affairs, and UAPD Chief Harry Hueston will host the event.
The new, 16,000-square-foot building cost $3.2 million and replaces a "temporary" facility on the south side of campus for the 100 employees of the department.
