The Arizona Wildcats football team this season hosts one of its best home schedules in school history with seven action-packed games. The school on Saturday, Sept. 11 will introduce Wildcat Walk, a new game day tradition that will become a highlight this season and beyond.

Prior to every Arizona home game, fans are encouraged to welcome the Wildcats to campus as the team arrives two hours prior to kickoff. The UA team busses will arrive on campus from Campbell Avenue and turn on to University Boulevard to head west through tailgating on the mall. The team will unload from the busses at the corner of University and Cherry Avenue, where it will be greeted by the Pride of Arizona marching band to begin the Wildcat Walk.

The band will flank the processional route as the Wildcats head south on foot toward Arizona Stadium. Fans are encouraged to line Cherry Avenue as the team passes through. UA cheerleaders and mascots will follow the Wildcats down Cherry toward Arizona Stadium, where the team will head to its locker room to dress for the game.

Admission into the ZonaZoo student section will begin after the team arrives into the stadium, allowing UA students in line attending the game to greet the team as it enters the gates.

UA athletics department officials hope to build on the enthusiasm of the upcoming season as well as enhance the game day experience on campus.

Arizona has enjoyed a significant home field advantage over the last couple seasons, with near-capacity crowds the norm and a 12-3 record over the last 15 games to show proof of what tremendous support can do on game day.

Season tickets, Flex Packs and individual game tickets are all on sale through the McKale Ticket Office.

The Wildcats home opener and first Wildcat Walk will be Sept. 11 when the UA hosts The Citadel. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the Wildcat Walk starting on the team's arrival around 5 p.m.
