Early Academic Outreach Helps Middle, High School Students Achieve College Goals

Dec. 16, 2011

The UA Office of Early Academic Outreach works in the community to increase the number of ethnic minority, low-income and first-generation college-bound students. One program is Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement, or MESA,  where students participate in hands-on activities and team competitions. Recently, UA President Eugene G. Sander met with members of EAO as well as a soon-to-be UA graduate who competed in MESA during high school.
