Led by the Office of Sustainability, partners from across the UA campus are working to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills after Homecoming weekend.

A group of current and former UA athletes is competing for medals in Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 Paralympic Games, which opened last week and run through Sept. 18.
Chad Shoopman, director of the Pride of Arizona Marching Band and Pep Band, selected the music of Earth, Wind & Fire to lead the band's new season. Shoopman was a Pride of Arizona member during his years at the UA.

Saturday night's football season opener for the Arizona Wildcats will mark the debut of Chad Shoopman, a UA alumnus who now directs the 240-piece Pride of Arizona. For fans of the horn-driven sound of Earth, Wind & Fire, this band's for you, and Shoopman promises "visual and musical surprises."
