Launching Your Career Symposium

Friday, March 15, 2019 - 9:00am to 4:15pm

The Launching Your Career Symposium is an all-day professional development and networking event targeting female students, post-doctoral scholars, and early career professionals in STEM fields from around the UA and the greater Tucson community.

The event will feature a keynote address by Cyndi Atherton, director of the science program at the Heising-Simons Foundation, as well as panel sessions and interactive workshops with accomplished female leaders in both industry and academia. A networking lunch will provide a chance for students to interact directly with female leaders in small group settings.  This event provides an opportunity for women pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and math fields to be inspired by those who have gone before and build the skills and relationships necessary to successfully launch their STEM careers.

This event is free of charge, but registration is required. For more information and to register, please visit the link below.
