Performance – Faculty Artist Series Recital: 'Refraction'
This performance, part of the Fred Fox School of Music's Faculty Artist Series Recital, features a clarinet performance by Jackie Glazier, an assistant professor of music.
The concept for this program deals with "Refraction," the phenomenon of light or radio waves being deflected in passing obliquely through the interface between one medium and another or through a medium of varying density. Each piece on the program will be paired with a visual component: choreography, multimedia or lighting.
The program also includes a world premiere from Fred Fox School of Music faculty member Kay He, as well as works inspired by rock, heavy metal and techno music.
