Join us for the premiere of "In the Americas with David Yetman," a new high-definition television series for PBS.
Films will include "Whistles in the Mist: Whistled Speech in Oaxaca," a 30-minute screening featuring David Yetman's and linguist Mark Sicoli's journey to a Chinantecan village in northern Oaxaca where villagers communicate by whistling and talking and "Tultepec: Mexico’s Skyrocket Central," a 30-minute screening featuring David Yetman and UA historian Bill Beezley's participation in the annual fireworks festival of Tultepec, Mexico's largest producer of fireworks.
The speakers will be the Emmy Award-winning producer and director Dan Duncan, and television host and writer, and David Yetman, from the PBS series “The Desert Speaks."
