Join us on for an artwork dedication in tribute to Mrs. Agnese Nelms Haury, University of Arizona supporter and life-long advocate for social justice.
Honoring her legacy, three outstanding Haury Challenge Grant finalists will present their unique university–community partnership approach to solve a "wicked" problem involving the environment and social justice. The program concludes with the award of the Haury Challenge Grant.
"The Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice Challenge Grant provides the flexibility to create partnerships with Navajo residents - increasing voice, capacity and resilience, carrying out our work in a culturally respectful and more impactful manner not possible with other grants." Karletta Chief and Paloma Beamer, Inaugural Haury Challenge Grant Winners.
RSVP by April 10.
The Haury Program leverages the power of university-community partnerships to address environmental and social justice challenges.
