Workshop: Home Self-Care Using Chinese Medicine Massage (Tuina)
Self-care is part of the continuum of health care for one's health and well-being. It is important for disease prevention and is the primary form of care for patients with chronic conditions. Professor Yu, specializing in acupuncture and Chinese massage (called tuina), is an expert, leading researcher and well-known clinician for treating and managing obesity, pain, nerve damage, urinary incontinence, degenerative disease, traumatic injury, subhealth condition, child tuina and chronic fatigue. During the two-hour workshop, he will provide hands-on instruction on self-care using tuina. Please wear comfortable clothes for the practice. You may bring a partner as participants will be paired up for the training.
The workshop is free and participants will receive coupons for clinical massage visits.
